What we do


Santoshpur Sanjivanee is a non-profit organization, registered under West Bengal Societies Registration Act 1961, working for the underprivileged children in the tribal belt of Bishnupur, a small town of great historical importance situated in the Bankura district of West Bengal, India.

Our Mission is to prepare well the children for their future providing basic education and healthcare. We believe that our small collective contributions will make a measurable difference to the life of these children and people of the community.

Currently, we have 120 children enrolled in our school, 8 teachers e 4 non-teaching staffs.

All donations made to Santoshpur Sanjivanee are eligible for tax exemption under section 80G of Income Tax act, 1961.

Actvities


Our flagship project, the "Lily Model School" a primary school started in 2009

We celebrate several important cultural dates with active participation of the students

Annual sports and other cultural/recreational are regularly arranged for the pleasure of the children

New and old clothes are distributed to the students and local community from time to time

We organize a weekly doctor's visit to provide a basic health care to the local community
